Object info:
NGC7023 is a complex mixture of reflection, emission and dark nebulosity surrounding the 7.4 magnitude star HD 200775 that illuminates the reflection nebula. The star is a Herbig Be star, only about 5000 years old. NGC7023 is situated in a large field of dark nebulosity.
